Unknown Unknowns are publications by Angie Waller. The books are written by ghostwriters, computers and other automatic means. They are compiled rather than authored. Words are considered for their monetary value over meaning. Observations take place through surveillance rather than personal experience.

Angie Waller is an artist and data scientist based in New York. She reverse engineers everyday systems through programming, text, and diagrams to uncover strange and unsettling patterns in online environments. Her books are in the collections of MoMA library, The Whitney Museum Library, and ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe. Most recently, her books exhibited at Somerset House (2020) in London, England and Fotomuseum Winterthur (2021) in Grüzenstrasse, Switzerland. Angie earned her MFA in Fine Art from UCLA and MA in Computational Linguistics from The Graduate Center, CUNY.
